One of Kenyan’s most photogenic hills are the Chyulu Hills - an areas of rolling open plains interrupted by the hills which runs for miles in a series of whale-backed summits,experience breathtaking views from the top of Chyulu Hills. Chyulu is a magical terrain of ragged craters, rolling African savannah grassland, exotic aromatic plants and cedar forests.
The park boundary runs down the center of the hills along the line of the peaks. The western half is part of the West Chyulu Game Conservation area, owned by several Maasai group ranches.
Here is abundant wildlife such reptiles like the black mamba, puff adder, rock python, gecko, tortoise and lizards. Other common animals are Buffalo, Bushbuck, Eland, African elephant, Leopard, Pig, Forest Bush, reedbuck, mountain and Steinbok. Insects and arthropods that reside here are Dung Beetles, Butterflies, and Tsetse fly.
